The 800 SKI-DOO Summit and 800 Polaris Pro RMK are going to be close this year for best mountain sled of the year. Polaris is now the lightest stock 800 on the snow at 417 pounds, with a new Quick Drive there is no more chain case as well as lighter running boards that boast an open area of 50% more for snow clean out. The seat is shorter by 5.5 inches, allowing you to easily swing a leg from one side to the other. Polaris also has a carbon fiber over structure frame to reduce weight. The 800 SKI-DOO SP has new running boards with the snow evacuation holes increased by 87% over the previous chassis. 8 inches of added foot room up front puts you right in line with the steering post for more leverage in side hilling and boom docking. SKI-DOO has changed the rear skid suspension. It is now called T-Motion. The new T-Motion makes it more predictable when side hilling and less effort when the driver starts banking.
